La'Orr Boutique was initially started from in 2003 by Lisa Orr as a part-time business from her home designing & manufacturing exclusive wedding & evening gowns. Very rapidly word spread about the high quality & unusual designs she was producing & people started coming from far and wide to have their very own La'Orr dress. To date she has sent gowns as far away as New Zealand, California & India. As the reputation and demand for her gowns grew Lisa opened a shop next to their home in Nethermuir, Aberdeenshire. To take some off the pressure off she decided to share the workload & carefully sourced several high quality designers that were, & remain, exclusive to La'Orr in Scotland & Northern England. All of these additional designers have been very carefully hand chosen to maintain the excellent reputation she have built up for La'Orr Boutique.

In 2006 Lisa's husband Alasdair, who is a trained Kilt maker, began working within the business as well. Alasdair manages the Menswear department as well as looking after all the marketing, promotion & administration of La'Orr Wedding Boutique.

Now stocking over 300 Designer Wedding, Bridesmaid, Flowergirl, Prom & Evening gowns ranging from only £49 to over £6000 they have something for everyone. In addition to the gowns for purchase they also offer an unpresidated hire service including over 100 gowns, plus a full range of complimentary accessories which can be hired for the big day. The boutique also stocks an extensive range of accessories to purchase including shoes, tiaras, veils, jewellery, bags, shawls, gloves, garters, etc,. Basically everything a bride-to-be and her assistants would need to complete their outfits.

La'Orr Boutique is continually expanding to meet demand and is currently constructing yet another even larger shop, again within the grounds of their home to fulfil this demand. With the new shop they will be able to offer an even wider range of gowns and accessories.
